Please see the attached details of the annual Jobs Fair in Northwich to be held this year on Friday 3rd April at Northwich Memorial Court. As well as CV workshops. interview skills and Access to Work help there are expected to be 40 employers present to connect with.

The Parish Council is hosting a Village Open Meeting at the Memorial Hall on Saturday 30th November between 1pm and 3pm.

Our PCSO, Diana Wiggins, will be there plus other local groups such as the WI, Fete Committee, Newsletter team and others as well as members of the Parish Council itself.

All are welcome, please come along and find out what's going on or have your say. Have a chat about current and future projects. Tell us what is important to you for our village.

The Avenue will be closed for resurfacing for up to 5 days from
14th November 2019.

Cheshire West and Chester Council have issued the following to advise of resurfacing works to The Avenue for 5 days from Thursday 14th November:

Please find attached the link to a temporary road closure notice for Road Closure - The Avenue, Comberbach which commences on 14th November 2019 This is necessary for safety reasons to enable carriageway resurfacing and will be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council. The works are expected to last for 5 days.

Anyone who has "sponsored a pencil" at the recreation area at the Memorial Hall will be pleased to know the nameplates have arrived.

The plan is to fit them on Sunday 27th October at starting at around 10.00 am. If anyone wants to choose their own pencil they are welcome to come to the Rec area at around 10 am on the day.

The children of Comberbach Primary School would love to invite you into School to share your memories of the local area. There will be refreshments and cakes for you to enjoy whilst sharing your photos, maps and stories about how things used to be in the past.

If you know of anyone else that would be able to share their knowledge with the children then please bring them along.
